Doug grew up in the West Island of Montreal where he got his start playing bass, playing in some local original bands in the area. Along with his brother Gord on drums, they provided some solid bottom end and an extremely tight rhythm section for THE ENORMOUS RADIO and later THE GREAT GREEN BILLYGOATS. Doug and Gord also did the majority of song writing for these bands. After moving to Toronto to study architecture, Doug continued playing bass with a local band WOLFPACK that played popular covers in the clubs and corporate shows in the Greater Toronto area. Since moving up to Collingwood, Doug has been the bassist for local blues favourite MAGGIE AND THE GATORS, playing Blues Festivals and bars around the Georgian Triangle and Toronto area. Now as bassist for TOUCH OF VINYL, Doug is once again teamed up with his brother Gord on drums to provide a monster rhythm section to the pop supergroup.
