Born and raised in a suburb of Toronto, Ontario, John Eaton cut his teeth as a guitarist and songwriter fronting the band LEGACY, playing the Toronto New Wave club scene while still in his teens. He learned the art of “showbiz” fronting THE LIVE KARAOKE BAND which also produced the partnership ESP, a small company dedicated to writing and producing affordable jingles and music for retail advertising. A career in broadcasting brought him to Peterborough where he was a founding member of Central Ontario's WOLF 101.5 FM Howlers Band before moving to Collingwood. As well as being the bass player, singer and founding member of STRANGE POTATOES the highly acclaimed Celtic inspired party trio popular on the Ontario festival and convention circuit, John can also be seen fronting local club favourites LEMON PEPPER PICKEREL. As a dyed in the wool pop music enthusiast, John is also very pumped about in role as guitarist and comic relief in TOUCH OF VINYL.
